Tourism HR Canada

Working with Origin Leadership Consulting has been an absolute pleasure. They played a key role in the successful development of an 8-module eLearning program that focuses on disability inclusion in tourism workplaces. The project, which was completed in both French and English, took over a year to bring to life, and is launching as a true success.

The modules cover critical topics, including allyship, mental health challenges, strategic planning, and addressing bias—essential knowledge for creating more inclusive workplaces in the tourism industry. Origin Leadership Consulting not only developed high-quality, engaging content, but they also demonstrated exceptional flexibility and responsiveness throughout the project.

One of the most impressive aspects of working with their team was their ability to quickly address and adapt to unexpected challenges. Whether it was adjusting to new requirements or navigating unforeseen obstacles, Origin's team responded with agility, professionalism, and a commitment to ensuring the project stayed on track and met all its objectives.

The success of this project is a testament to their expertise, dedication, and the seamless collaboration that Origin Leadership Consulting fosters. We are proud of what we have achieved together and look forward to working with them again on future initiatives.

Health Associations Nova Scotia (HANS)

We were delighted with our partnership with Origin for our project, Advancing Equity in Healthcare Education: Insights on the CCA RPL Program from Marginalized Groups. We felt not only were our needs met but we received gentle but informed guidance where needed and they promoted a strong, honest, collaborative approach to the project. Facilitated sessions for participants from the 2SLGBTQIA+ and Indigenous Nation were structured for the benefit of the attendees and the information captured met our goal of seeking to improve. Additionally, I felt we were in very good hands as we learned to navigate new territory! And they were a joy to work with – so dedicated and passionate.

Massachusetts General Hospital Aspire

Here at Massachusetts General Hospital Aspire, we've been working with Raelene Bergen and her team at Origin Leadership Consulting to develop a customized, leadership training program for neurodiverse teens. When starting our journey, we sought out the best of the best in leadership consulting firms to build up our understanding of leadership training best practices, and Origin did not disappoint! Raelene spent hours connecting with our team to learn more about our youth population, current programmatic needs, and desires for future growth. What she then presented was revolutionary--a "plug and play" model for teen leadership training that prioritized the needs of our participants and provided room for those needs to fluctuate between different cohorts and seasons.

Something so very special about the team at Origin Leadership is their knack for collaboration; it's second nature. Origin has taken the time to get to know who we are as an organization, and they've used that information to guide our staff in building programs that Aspire. One way this collaboration has really shone is in the flexibility Raelene demonstrated in supporting staff to tweak program structure to participant needs mid-way through our summer session. When program progress halted due to waning camper motivation levels, Raelene wasn't scared; rather, she encouraged staff to lean into the "youth perspective" and head back to the drawing board accordingly. Besides the effortless teamwork Origin has modeled with us and for us, they also practice using a growth mindset in all situations. Raelene consistently solicits feedback about Origin services, always making sure they live up to her high standards of excellence, and she builds programmatic evaluation into debriefs as a deliberate piece of the leadership training puzzle.

We couldn't have asked for more from our work with Origin Leadership Consulting, and we look forward to many more years of creative, collaborative partnership."

Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council Employment Training

Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council is a First Nations organization that works to preserve, protect, and promote the Nuu-chah-nulth culture, language, and traditions.

The training department, Nuu-chah-nulth Employment and Training Program (NETP) contracted Origin Leadership Consulting to design and facilitate Employment Success Training Programs that focused on Computer/Digital Literacy Skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint), Typing and Keyboarding, Workplace, Telephone & Online Etiquette, Navigate & Operate basic office systems, Communicate with Managers, Colleagues & Clients, Verbal/Non-Verbal & Written Communication.

The goal was to work with participants-many who were living in remote communities to have better employment opportunities and to learn in a safe, supportive environment. Origin worked with the NETP team, Elders, and Knowledge Keepers to design a program that was culturally informed and supported different styles of learning.

Origin facilitated over 20 programs, each one for a duration of approximately 120 hours of training. The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive: they appreciated how the course was tailored to their needs, appreciated the practicality of the material covered, and felt that it made them more confident in their job search.
